Thank you for dropping in!
I am on a journey – living life – with an ever changing landscape!
I enjoy learning and sharing knowledge about handcrafting and sustainable living. I up-cycle materials to promote awareness for recycling. I also like to share my homesteading interests and especially plant based eating, and fermenting foods such as the old-time salt brine fermenting of vegetables and drinks such as kombucha, ginger ale, whole grain brew ales, and wine. See my Recipe page.
I live in the Pensacola, Florida metropolitan area, specifically out to the southeast of Milton. I sew Made to Order Custom Sewing, also hemming, mending, limited alterations, and home decor projects. I offer Pickup and Delivery Service in some areas. You can call me and leave a message at 850-816-8676 – or you can text me.

Especially convenient for local customers who want to pick up their order and not have to go through Etsy to make the purchase.
I have an online storefront in an online shopping mall known as Etsy. Below you will see some of the featured items that are listed in my Etsy shop and if you click on the pictures you will be whisked away to my Etsy shop. You don’t need to buy through Etsy though, if you prefer another way to purchase such as the PayPal link I gave previously above. Call me and we can discuss it. When you leave message be sure to let me know that you saw this page on my blog.
I recycle feed bags, coffee bags and other materials, process the raw material and reuse it by giving it a new purpose in life such as totes, recycle bins, hampers, rugs and many other utilitarian items.
I have custom made-to-order items listed in my “Etsy Shop,” and that means, you order and then I make it. The pictures in the listings are prior custom orders and shown only for example. I rarely have any “ready made” items for sale because I make everything custom or made to order. Click on picture below to check out details and pricing.
QUALITY OF CONSTRUCTION SETS US APART!
COMPARE AND YOU WILL SEE THE DIFFERENCE!
1. All recycled bags are completely processed by either pulling apart the glued seam, or by cutting a new opening along the side of the bag so that the bag can lay open flat for washing.
2. All bags are opened flat and scrubbed with cleaning and disinfecting solutions on both sides of the bag. Some bags require soaking to disinfectant and remove stains, That is done in a large plastic container when the bags are submersed in a disinfecting solution of chlorine water.
3. Washed bags are hung on line to dry, once dry the bags are ready to be cut-out for sewing just as any other material.
4. All totes and other items are constructed with great care for durability as well as aesthetics!
Some people may prefer to make their own, I encourage that! I have made many tutorials showing how I make the items that I sell.
I sell the tutorials that I published in PDF form consisting of instructions with many pictures of my process making the items in my Etsy Tutorial Shop I also have a Craftsy Tutorial Shop where you can also purchase an instant download PDF tutorial pattern.
